Studio 8 School of Art and Design originated from the artistic workshop “MAVROGENIS”, directed by the late Costas Mavrogenis and George Mavrogenis, which have been artistically contributing to the community for more than a century. Their genuine and noteworthy artistic work was reflected in a number of pioneering creations and innovative ideas including the Limassol Carnival and the Limassol Wine Festival, as well as on stage designs for various theatre plays and shows.
